Music Moves Everyone!

Music Motivates Me!

I Motivate My Classes!

Twenty Five Plus Years  Teaching Fitness Classes…

Has grown my music library for sure!  In the 80’s instructors all over the country were purchasing Cd’s, lugging them from one class to another. They were full of scratches, and constantly skipping.  With those we were often stuck with the  “studio-fake music” , which was just awful. If we were lucky enough to find one we loved, watch out you were going to hear it for straight year!

Then Came…

ITUNES! Classes were never the same!

There are just a few things to consider when you are choosing music for fitness. Unless it is a cool down, or something you want to meditate to, don’t do anything slow and under 120 beats per minute (bpm). You will not be motivated when you may need it most. Save the slow mushy for hanging out and relaxing.

Many of you are always asking about my music, so I will share my list here. All the songs are on  iTunes, and I am sure available for the android market. Since I have been married to my iPod for my classes, I will most likely never change.
