My strength training music usually offers higher beat music, and lower beat music. If we are weight training, I like to slow things down so my students focus on form, this could be as slow as 110 to 120 bpm. When I need to pick things up, I like 120-150 bpm, depending on what we are doing. This might be during our cardio work on bikes, treadmills, elliptical, rowers, etc…. Anything to motivate a push helps us to achieve our goals.
