This class  is designed to help you body recover from your dedicated daily exercises, or your daily non-movement!

Both hurt equally!

A series of static stretches for 45 minutes! 

The New Trier Adult Extension offers a variety of adult fitness classes year round.

Sweat and Stretch, like all our fitness classes, are designed for all ages and fitness levels.  Modifications are provided throughout all classes for those who need to modify and adjust their workouts.  

 Some clients are looking to improve their sports performance, some are looking to decrease joint pain and others simply just want a great stretch. No matter what brings you to our stretch class – the benefits of a regular and professional assisted stretching routine offers many benefits.  Increases in flexibility and proper balance in the body will lower risk of injury and recovery time.

A proper stretching routine over time will increase your range of motion and flexibility – making everyday tasks easier and improving your quality of life.

Reduce muscle & joint pain

Stretching help to alleviate muscle tension reducing pain in sore areas and reduces joint pain. Stretching routines also help in injury and pain prevention.

Dynamic & Static Stretching

Static stretching is holding a stretch for a set amount of time. Dynamic stretching includes some sort of movement associated with the stretch. We use a combination of  stretches as well as  stretching tools during every group stretch. 

Due to the high demand for this class,  another stretch class has been added to the Winter/Spring 2019 class schedule. . Stretch & Flex,
